Guilty of Humanity

Cemal, who lives in one of the poor neighborhoods of Adana, tries to take care of his entire family by working as a server. While he is looking for a way out, the desperation has grown even more with the death of his seriously ill father. He is not yet aware that this upsetting event will radically change his life. Before his father took his last breath, he told Cemal that he had a rich uncle in Istanbul. Learning that he has a wealthy relative shakes Cemal, who grows up in misery.

Cemal gets confused when his uncle, Sami Gökdemir, one of the country’s leading entrepreneurs, appears and promises his nephew a share of the wealth he has. His mother, Hülya, wants to keep her son away from Sami and his surroundings because of years of hostility and the wounds of the past. However, Cemal’s life has already entered an irreversible path. Cemal cannot escape his fate despite all his mother’s efforts to prevent him. Stepping into a brand new world in Istanbul, Cemal can’t help falling in love with Suna, who is engaged to his cousin. While trying to make himself accepted by the Gökdemir family, he will immerse himself in completely different dreams. However, his besetting sins will shatter his hopes in a short time. A hard journey with an uncertain end has begun in front of Cemal.
